We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager based in Perth, Australia covering the Australia and Asia-Pacific regions.
This individual will manage the promotion and direction of sales and service activities within a specified region among customers and prospects. Will also manage the sales of MOGAS severe service ball valves to business and industrial establishments, and supervise and train Territory Sales Representatives.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve relationships with new and existing customers and representatives
- Travel domestically throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talk with customers on sales floor or by phone
- Increase new customer base and sales
- Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
- Expedite any service concern and product delivery by being available to travel or answer calls as necessary
- Make forecasts on anticipated market sales
- Assure Reps are motivated, informed of new developments at MOGAS as well as within territories which might affect product sales
- Provide product information and service application possibilities through live presentations, literature and scheduled contacts with customers
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develop sales campaigns to accommodate goals of MOGAS
- Direct product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line
- Work closely with Service to provide ongoing customer assistance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Requires five to seven years industrial valve experience
- Must be able to travel extensively both domestic and international for client contact
